Maybe calling this woman a dummie is a bit much, but then again sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. On a local Atlanta news station they did a special report about a woman that attempted to purchase a vehicle on Ebay. Purchasing a vehicle online site unseen is not as uncommon as you would think. We have at least one or two purchases a month from people from around the country that may see a vehicle online and purchase it without seeing the vehicle in person. We will do a wire transfer of the money, set up a transporter to deliver the vehicle and call it a day.
This particular woman was searching for a 05′ BMW 645 Convertible. She found someone selling that vehicle from overseas on Ebay. They sold the vehicle to her for $12,000. They had her to wire the money to their account but she never received the vehicle. It turns out that the seller was a complete fraud and actually never was associated with Ebay at all. The proposed seller set up fake Ebay documents so that it looked like they were a legit Ebay vendor.
Now I am sorry that this lady lost her money. I truly am. Sometimes you really have to ask yourself what the hell are some people thinking when they do things. As I mentioned in my car buying 101 entry if a car price is a lot cheaper than what the rest of the market is asking, there is probably something wrong with the vehicle. Not only was there something wrong with the vehicle, this vehicle never existed.
The other thing I mentioned is to do your research when purchasing a vehicle. If this woman had done her research on this vehicle she would have known that the price of this vehicle would range between $67,000 and $75,000. There is no way in hell she could have honestly thought that she could get this vehicle for $12,000.
I don’t care if Mr. BMW himself said he would give you a hook up, that vehicle is not going cost $12,000. So as Fred Sanford would say to his beloved son Lamont. You BIG DUMMIE!
Say it with me, If it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

FGM, Baby is your job getting to you…lol. I need to make another trip to Atl and give u something to write about. J/K…lol…pkc

Does it go for men to? I am sorry if I sounded like I was dumping on women. That was not the case at all. Just so happen this situation I heard on the news was a woman. Nothing more to it. If it was a man, he would have been a big dummie as well.
